SAMPLE JAR

Using a 100ml sample pot is an easy way to test colours in the room you are painting. Instead of applying directly to the wall, we recommend applying two coats of each of your sample pots to sheets of paper or card (the larger the better) and allowing to dry. Stick your painted sheets up in the room you are painting. Move them around the room to see how the colour changes throughout the day and in different light conditions. The sample pot contains Estate Emulsion, a high- quality, ultra-matt chalk paint for interior ceilings and walls (ultra-matt: 2% sheen).

Limewash *

Limewash from Little Greene is a traditional protective matt finish for exterior walls or brickwork. Limewash is made from slaked lime and can be diluted directly and then applied. Available in 5 litre tins. Consumption per litre is approx. 6 m². Also see the Little Greene Limewash product advice.

LIMEWASH

Farrow & Ball Limewash is een zeer ademende, specialistische afwerking die geschikt is voor binnen- en buitenmuren, evenals plafonds van traditionele en historische gebouwen. Met een uiterst matte uitstraling (2% glans) hecht Limewash zich direct aan de ondergrond, wat zorgt voor een unieke, textuurrijke afwerking die varieert afhankelijk van de applicatiemethode.

HOEVEEL LIMEWASH HEB JE NODIG?

Het verbruik is afhankelijk van de ondergrond en applicatiemethode. Raadpleeg het productinformatieblad voor specifieke details.

WERKWIJZE

Let op: Limewash is een traditioneel product met een specifieke applicatiemethode. Lees altijd het officiële productinformatieblad zorgvuldig voor je begint. De onderstaande stappen zijn een beknopte samenvatting.

1. Reinig en ontvet het oppervlak grondig en zorg dat het volledig droog is. Niet toepassen over moderne muurverf.
2. Verdun de Limewash met water (10–30%, tot max. 100% afhankelijk van de ondergrond).
3. Maak de ondergrond licht vochtig vóór elke laag. Breng Farrow & Ball Limewash vervolgens in dunne lagen aan met een kalkkwast. Laat elke laag goed drogen en maak deze opnieuw licht vochtig voordat je een volgende laag aanbrengt. Herhaal dit proces minimaal drie keer voor een optimaal resultaat.

Let op: Vanwege de specifieke eigenschappen van Limewash is het niet geschikt voor oppervlakken die eerder zijn geschilderd met moderne verfsoorten.
