SEASON 23 EPISODE 3

FAMILY HOME FULL OF COZINESS

Ten years ago, Rob and Anne bought their single-family home in Haarlem. They invested all their time and energy into a complete renovation, but not into the interior design. Now they live there with their two children, aged four and six, but they still haven't gotten around to the interior.

The children are growing, the space is not being used optimally, and their tastes clash. Rob prefers calm and a clean base, while Anne is happy with color, flowers, and prints.

Curious how stylist Liza transforms this house into a place where everyone feels at home, and want to know which LAB color she used for this? Discover it here!

PRACTICAL AND PEONY PINK

Rob and Anne's family home is getting a complete makeover: from basic to warm, cozy, and snug. Practical and peony pink, as stylist Liza calls it.

Not a candy pink overall, but a calm base with the warm LAB color Fluffy Cheetah no. 255. By playing here and there with accent colors in the furniture, exactly the cozy atmosphere Rob and Anne longed for is created.

FLUFFY MOOD

With the warm LAB color Fluffy Cheetah no. 255 on both the walls and the ceiling, the interior immediately gains a high cuddle factor. The calm base is the perfect starting point to add color in furniture and accessories.

Stylist Liza chooses a pink sofa and matching dining chairs as real eye-catchers. And to complete the picture, two walls in the living area get a beautiful wallpaper — for just that little extra atmosphere and warmth.

COLOR PALETTE

Stylist Liza has chosen one color for all the walls and the ceiling in this home, with the accents coming from the furniture and accessories. Would you prefer to combine Fluffy Cheetah no. 255 with other LAB colors but stay within the same peony pink palette? Then you might consider a combination with Sensational Sand no. 290, Nigiri no. 286, and Tout 530.

FROM HIGH GLOSS TO WARM

Rob and Anne's kitchen is still fine as it is, but high-gloss white? That now feels a bit cold. Time for an upgrade! The cabinets will get a new look with wood, and atmospheric tiles will appear on the backsplash. This way, this corner of the house will also gain the warmth and coziness that fits the whole.

Smart Divide

Rob and Anne are not satisfied with the layout of the house. The fireplace was hardly used, which resulted in a lot of wasted space. By removing it, there is now room for a room divider. This wall-to-wall cabinet provides practical storage space and a good division within the home.
