SEASON 23 EPISODE 10

WARM HOME WITH A YELLOW ACCENT

Willy and Elke live with their children Minke and Mats in a bright detached house in Vijfhuizen. Due to the many windows, slanted walls, and a built-in closet wall, their house is difficult to arrange and in need of renewal.

While Elke prefers to keep things calm, timeless, and light, Willy longs for more color, warmth, and creative solutions for the dogs, the slanted back window, and the seating area.

Want to know how stylist Fietje created a warm home for this family? Discover the color palette she used here.

Functionally romantic

Stylist Fietje makes the home more personal and warmer by using tactile fabrics, rich textures, and LAB colors. She describes the makeover as 'functionally romantic.'

The color palette consists of the calm base tone Quiet Blush no. 67 and the warm Fez no. 288. Finally, Straw no. 209 forms a connecting color between the mood boards of both residents.

FRESH BLOSSOM

With Quiet Blush no. 67, Fietje creates a light, calm base. This white tint has a warm undertone, making it a perfect match for the home's color palette and beautifully complements the soft, touchable fabrics used.

A TOUCH OF FEZ

The warm color Fez no. 288 gives the home a cozy and atmospheric feel. This shade is easy to combine with other warm colors and works well in this interior alongside the fresh white of Quiet Blush no. 67.

STRALEND STRAW

A yellow accent in the home? Straw no. 209 is the perfect choice here. This color beautifully connects the mood boards of both residents, in which yellow appears for both. The mix of ochre and mustard yellow radiates energy and brings a touch of cheerfulness to the interior. It is an ideal accent color within the palette and gives the home more liveliness and personality.
