Little Greene Aderyn Wallpaper, inspired by the hand-painted Chinese wallpaper that adorns Erddig's State Bedroom in Wales, pays tribute to the beautiful birds and flowers that characterize this historic interior. In the late 18th century, Erddig was the family home of Philip Yorke and his wife Elizabeth. They specially selected this wallpaper for the State Bedroom, where only highly important guests stayed. The original painting, richly decorated with birds and flowers, contains subtle nods to the Chinese concept of the interconnectivity of opposites (yin and yang). The delicate depiction of bird couples and symbolism such as the magnolia (symbol of feminine beauty) and the peony (symbol of eminence) make this wallpaper unique. By integrating elements from the original, a versatile and contemporary bird and floral design is created. Little Greene National Trust Papers IV Wallpaper Collection
National Trust Papers IV contains eight historic wallpaper designs that have been adapted and recolored in 42 colorways for use in the modern home. Each design has been created from original patterns found in various National Trust historic houses, with the addition of one design that has been recolored and revived from the Little Greene archive.

For most wallpaper projects, we recommend Arte Clear Pro wallpaper adhesive. This glue is high quality and suitable for various types of wallpaper. Always check the specifications of your wallpaper to see if this adhesive is suitable. Unsure? Contact us, and we will be happy to advise you.
For the best result, we recommend making the wall as smooth as possible before applying the wallpaper. If the texture is too rough, it may remain visible through the wallpaper.
To remove wallpaper, you can use a wallpaper steamer or wet the wallpaper with water and a splash of dish soap. Let it soak for a while, then carefully scrape the wallpaper off the wall. Non-woven wallpaper is often easier to remove when dry.
This depends on the type of wallpaper. Many types of wallpaper can be lightly wiped off with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents. Always check the product information for specific maintenance advice.
