Description
Dedar Moiré Chanvre
Moiré Chanvre | 011
Moiré Chanvre is a moiré wallpaper made of hemp and linen, with an irregular, richly textured appearance. The wavy pattern, applied by hand by the artisan, washes the surface with light. A delicate color palette does justice to the character of natural fibers. The free-flowing, unpredictable pattern does not match seamlessly across the strips.
SPECIFICATIONS
✔ Width 130 cm / sold by the running meter
✔ Free match
✔ Linen and hemp textile wallpaper on a non-woven backing — apply the adhesive directly to the wall
✔ Flame-retardant (EN 15102)
HOW MANY METERS DO YOU NEED?
Dedar wallcovering is supplied by the running meter, at a width of 130 cm. You will receive one continuous roll in the number of meters ordered, from which your decorator will cut the strips. Allow for pattern repeats and cutting waste.
Please note: Dedar wallcovering is ordered especially for you and therefore cannot be returned. Not sure? Order a sample first or view the wallpaper in our concept store in Bussum. You can also browse the wallpaper book there and see the texture up close.
Use the LAB wallpaper calculator for a quick and accurate estimate. Or email contact@labcolourtheworld.com with your wall measurements (and, if possible, a simple drawing), and we’ll calculate it for you.
INSTALLATION
1. Make sure the surface is smooth, dry and even. Fill any holes or imperfections.
2. Use a professional vinyl wallpaper adhesive, such as Arte Clearpro.
3. Apply the adhesive directly to the wall. Place the strips tightly together without overlapping.
4. Use a soft roller to prevent air bubbles and creases.
Carefully trim any excess material with a sharp knife for a neat finish.
Pair with our wallpaper installation kits for the right tools and adhesive.
SUITABLE SURFACES
✔ Cement-based walls (e.g. concrete, plaster)
✔ Plasterboard
✔ Smooth existing paint finishes
✔ MDF or plywood (provided it has been properly prepared)
Please note: surfaces must be dry, dust-free and even for the best results.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Application
This depends on the dimensions of your wall and the type of wallpaper (for example, with or without pattern repeat). Use our wallpaper calculator or contact us for help calculating the right amount.
For most wallpaper projects, we recommend Arte Clear Pro wallpaper adhesive. This glue is high quality and suitable for various types of wallpaper. Always check the specifications of your wallpaper to see if this adhesive is suitable. Unsure? Contact us, and we will be happy to advise you.
For the best result, we recommend making the wall as smooth as possible before applying the wallpaper. If the texture is too rough, it may remain visible through the wallpaper.
To remove wallpaper, you can use a wallpaper steamer or wet the wallpaper with water and a splash of dish soap. Let it soak for a while, then carefully scrape the wallpaper off the wall. Non-woven wallpaper is often easier to remove when dry.
This depends on the type of wallpaper. Many types of wallpaper can be lightly wiped off with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents. Always check the product information for specific maintenance advice.
