Amoir Fou is a fire-retardant moiré wallpaper with a free pattern, where a subtle matt finish softens the most striking features of classic moiré. Its unpredictable, ever-changing design is created by the artisan’s hand movements, preserving a sense of freedom.
SPECIFICATIONS
✔ Width 145 cm / sold by the linear metre
✔ Free match
✔ Polyester textile wallpaper on a non-woven backing — apply adhesive directly to the wall
✔ Fire-retardant (EN 15102)
HOW MANY METRES DO YOU NEED?
Dedar wallcovering is supplied by the linear metre, at a width of 145 cm. You’ll receive one continuous roll in the quantity ordered, from which your decorator will cut the strips. Allow for pattern repeat and cutting waste.
Please note: Dedar wallcovering is specially ordered for you and therefore cannot be returned. Not sure? Order a sample first or view the wallpaper at our concept store in Bussum. You can also browse the wallpaper book there and see the texture up close.
Use the LAB wallpaper calculator for a quick, accurate estimate. Or email contact@labcolourtheworld.com with your wall measurements (and a simple drawing, if applicable), and we’ll work it out for you.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Ensure the surface is smooth, dry and even. Fill any holes or smooth out any uneven areas.
2. Use a professional vinyl wallpaper adhesive, such as Arte Clearpro.
3. Apply the adhesive directly to the wall. Place the strips tightly together without overlapping.
4. Use a soft roller to prevent air bubbles and creases.
Carefully trim away excess material with a sharp knife for a neat finish.
Pair it with our wallpaper installation kits for the right tools and adhesive.
SUITABLE SURFACES
✔ Cement-based walls (e.g. concrete, plaster)
✔ Plasterboard
✔ Smooth existing paint finishes
✔ MDF or plywood (if properly prepared)
Please note: for the best results, surfaces must be dry, dust-free and smooth.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Application
This depends on the dimensions of your wall and the type of wallpaper (for example, with or without pattern repeat). Use our wallpaper calculator or contact us for help calculating the right amount.
For most wallpaper projects, we recommend Arte Clear Pro wallpaper adhesive. This glue is high quality and suitable for various types of wallpaper. Always check the specifications of your wallpaper to see if this adhesive is suitable. Unsure? Contact us, and we will be happy to advise you.
For the best result, we recommend making the wall as smooth as possible before applying the wallpaper. If the texture is too rough, it may remain visible through the wallpaper.
To remove wallpaper, you can use a wallpaper steamer or wet the wallpaper with water and a splash of dish soap. Let it soak for a while, then carefully scrape the wallpaper off the wall. Non-woven wallpaper is often easier to remove when dry.
This depends on the type of wallpaper. Many types of wallpaper can be lightly wiped off with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents. Always check the product information for specific maintenance advice.
