Description
Antoinette Poisson Palmettes
Palmettes Frieze | 117A
At 27 cm wide, the Antoinette Poisson Palmettes frieze is the widest border in the collection, making it more of a decorative band than a line. The palmette motif is rendered on a large scale, giving a wall architectural definition.
SPECIFICATIONS
✔ Frieze height: 27 cm
✔ Supplied in sets of 12 metres (4 rolls of 3 metres each)
✔ Non-woven wallpaper, 165 g/m² - apply adhesive to the wall
HOW MANY SETS DO YOU NEED?
Each set contains 12 metres of frieze, divided into 4 rolls of 3 metres each. Measure the total length you want to cover and divide by 12 to determine how many sets you need. Allow a little extra for corners and joins.
Please note: Antoinette Poisson wall coverings are ordered especially for you and therefore cannot be returned. Not sure? Order a sample first or view the wallpaper at our concept store in Bussum. You can also browse the wallpaper book there and see the texture up close.
Use the LAB wallpaper calculator for a quick and accurate estimate. Or email contact@labcolourtheworld.com with your wall measurements (and a simple drawing, if available), and we’ll work it out for you.
HOW TO APPLY
1. Make sure the surface is smooth, dry, and even. Fill any holes or smooth out any uneven areas.
2. Use a professional vinyl wallpaper adhesive, such as Arte Clearpro.
3. Apply the paste directly to the wall. Place the strips tightly against each other without overlapping.
4. Use a soft roller to prevent air bubbles and creases.
Trim away any excess neatly with a sharp knife for a clean finish.
Pair it with our wallpaper installation kits for the right tools and paste.
SUITABLE SURFACES
✔ Cement-based walls (e.g. concrete, plaster)
✔ Plasterboard
✔ Smooth existing paint
✔ MDF or plywood (if properly primed)
Please note: for best results, surfaces must be dry, dust-free and smooth.
ABOUT ANTOINETTE POISSON WALLPAPER
A Paris chez Antoinette Poisson was founded in 2012 by Vincent Farelly, Jean-Baptiste Martin and Julie Stordiau, three paper restorers who revived the forgotten technique of domino paper making. Domino paper is the 18th-century precursor to wallpaper: small sheets hand-printed from engraved woodblocks and colored with stencils. The house is named after Jeanne-Antoinette Poisson, Marquise de Pompadour, and works from Paris and its own studio in Brittany on wallpapers, fabrics and objects that keep alive the charm of the intimate 18th-century interior.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Application
This depends on the dimensions of your wall and the type of wallpaper (for example, with or without pattern repeat). Use our wallpaper calculator or contact us for help calculating the right amount.
For most wallpaper projects, we recommend Arte Clear Pro wallpaper adhesive. This glue is high quality and suitable for various types of wallpaper. Always check the specifications of your wallpaper to see if this adhesive is suitable. Unsure? Contact us, and we will be happy to advise you.
For the best result, we recommend making the wall as smooth as possible before applying the wallpaper. If the texture is too rough, it may remain visible through the wallpaper.
To remove wallpaper, you can use a wallpaper steamer or wet the wallpaper with water and a splash of dish soap. Let it soak for a while, then carefully scrape the wallpaper off the wall. Non-woven wallpaper is often easier to remove when dry.
This depends on the type of wallpaper. Many types of wallpaper can be lightly wiped off with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents. Always check the product information for specific maintenance advice.
