1838 Wallcoverings Wisteria Bloom

Wisteria Bloom | Pistachio

A stunning, large-scale floral mural inspired by an archival kimono, reflecting the dramatic impact and breathtaking beauty of the original. Wisteria blossoms cascade down from the ceiling, while chrysanthemums grow gracefully from the lush green grasses to create this beautiful panoramic scene, which can be repeated along the wall. Bring the outdoors inside with fresh pistachio green and delicate flowers in soft shades of pink, lilac and cream. Painting the skirting board a darker green anchors the design and creates a stylish look. Available in 4 colours: Alabaster, Heather, Pistachio and Dark Sage grey. One roll contains 4 panels (A, B, C & D) for the complete design. The design can be repeated to cover more walls by using another roll in the same order (A B C D) until the desired area is wallpapered. Depending on the wall height, the panel can be trimmed at the bottom to create the desired scene. Wisteria Bloom Mural archival inspiration: kimono, embroidered silk, made in Japan, probably sold in France, circa 1900. The stunning mural is inspired by a silk kimono once worn by society figure Emilie Grigsby (1876, 1964), whose enviable clothing collection was donated to the V&A in the 1960s. A wealthy and independent American from New York, Emilie was known for her impeccable taste and avant-garde approach to fashion, often sourcing her beautiful wardrobe from renowned couturiers in London, Paris and New York.
