Description
1838 Wallcoverings Rhododendron
Rhododendron | Yellow
Rich and refreshing, the Rhododendron wallpaper is a perfect fit for both contemporary and classic interiors. This reimagined archival floral pattern has a retro charm and a captivating, almost geometric look, as the design forms softly undulating stripes across the wall. The abundant leaves and flowering blooms are printed using surface printing for a lush, matte ink coverage and a beautiful painterly effect. Fresh yellow accents break up the rich tones of the green foliage. Available in 3 colors: Magenta, Yellow and Forest blue. Archival inspiration Rhododendron: woodblock-printed wallpaper sample, England, circa 1920-30. As a transitional piece, this wonderfully abundant pattern draws on the Arts and Crafts movement's preference for weaving botanical studies into home furnishings, as well as the lush patterns of the Art Deco era. Surface printing began in 1838, and the subtle textural effect created when the rollers apply the ink, known as treeing, within the flower and leaf shapes is entirely unique to this historic printing process.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Application
This depends on the dimensions of your wall and the type of wallpaper (for example, with or without pattern repeat). Use our wallpaper calculator or contact us for help calculating the right amount.
For most wallpaper projects, we recommend Arte Clear Pro wallpaper adhesive. This glue is high quality and suitable for various types of wallpaper. Always check the specifications of your wallpaper to see if this adhesive is suitable. Unsure? Contact us, and we will be happy to advise you.
For the best result, we recommend making the wall as smooth as possible before applying the wallpaper. If the texture is too rough, it may remain visible through the wallpaper.
To remove wallpaper, you can use a wallpaper steamer or wet the wallpaper with water and a splash of dish soap. Let it soak for a while, then carefully scrape the wallpaper off the wall. Non-woven wallpaper is often easier to remove when dry.
This depends on the type of wallpaper. Many types of wallpaper can be lightly wiped off with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents. Always check the product information for specific maintenance advice.
