1838 Wallcoverings Flower Meadow

Flower Meadow | Forest Green

This Arts and Crafts-style floral wallpaper depicts the idyllic beauty of a wildflower meadow with bluebells, daisies, and faded dandelions. The traditionally printed design features an elegantly rendered texture, with lightly raised inks that give the flowers character and add subtle texture to the fine dotted effect in the background. It creates a charming atmosphere in any room and perfectly complements its original title, Sweet Home. Forest, a dark forest green, offers a beautiful woodland retreat. Available in 5 colors: the original Prussian Blue, Forest, Celeste, Spring, and Cream. Archive inspiration Flower Meadow: Dulce Domum wallpaper, Walter Crane (1845-1915), woodblock print on paper, produced by Jeffrey & Co., England, 1904. Walter Crane was a committed socialist who firmly believed in the transformative power of regularly bringing people from all walks of life into contact with art. The pattern’s Latin name, Dulce Domum, means Sweet Home and was created in 1904 by the renowned printing house Jeffrey & Co. Reimagining Crane’s woodblock-printed wallpaper was effortless thanks to the expert printing at the 1838 factory in Lancashire.
