Kit Miles is a luxury design studio founded in 2011 by British textile designer Kit Miles. Kit Miles is known for his dynamic use of colour and richly drawn imagery, bringing unique imagination to life.

Just four years after graduating from London’s Royal College of Art with a master’s degree in textiles, Kit Miles is a rising star in the world of interior design. A combination of fine drawing, highly detailed imagery and tasteful use of colour are the core values. A wallpaper collection where surrealism, botanical prints and geometry come together.

What’s interesting about Miles’ work is his ability to use the natural/angular visual tension to create a sense of ambiguity that makes the designs come alive and tell a story. Kit Miles: “I enjoy bringing ‘opposites’ together in new ways – for example strength and fragility – and playing with size so that two seemingly opposing elements can be combined in a way that hasn’t been done before,” he says. “Because I draw all the imagery by hand, I can be very flexible and respond quickly to a client’s unique needs.” Most projects involve rescaling a design or specifying different colors.
