Kit Miles

Just four years after graduating from the Royal College of Art in London with a master's degree in textiles, Kit Miles is a rising star in the world of interior designers. A combination of fine drawings, highly detailed images, and tasteful use of color are the core values. A wallpaper collection where surrealism, botanical prints, and geometry come together. 

What is interesting about Miles' work is his ability to use natural/angular visual tension to create a sense of ambiguity that makes the designs lively and tells a story. Kit Miles: "I enjoy bringing 'opposites' together in a new way – for example, strength and vulnerability – and playing with scale so that two seemingly opposing elements can be combined in a way that hasn’t been done before," he says. "Because I draw all the images by hand, I can be very flexible and respond quickly to a client’s unique needs." Most projects involve rescaling a design or specifying different colors.
