The jute wallpaper Align by Arte is made of real textile, namely the fabric jute. The wallpaper is like a patchwork in which the different areas of rough jute are sewn together. The base is made of foil, which gives the design a glossy effect.
The structure of this jute wallpaper is made of vinyl and is almost indistinguishable from fabric. The great advantage of vinyl is that it can withstand a knock, unlike fabric. The patchwork of real jute gets an excellent color fastness thanks to a special treatment. For the best result, we recommend making the wall as smooth as possible before applying the wallpaper. If the texture is too coarse, it may remain visible through the wallpaper.
To remove wallpaper, you can use a wallpaper steamer or wet the wallpaper with water and a splash of dish soap. Let it soak in for a while and then carefully scrape the wallpaper off the wall. Non-woven wallpaper is often easier to remove dry.
