Little Greene Stag Trail wallpaper is a real classic trendsetter. This classic Georgian floral design can be viewed at Greyfriars, a medieval timber-framed house in Worcester. In the 20th century, Elsie Moore owned the house. She bought some unused scrolls and had parts of them made into framed panels for the dining room. When she suspected that the turquoise pigment in the base coat might be arsenic, she covered the panels with plain brown paper to prevent accidental poisoning of her or her guests. The holes from the pins she used are still visible today, but fortunately this wallpaper is safe.

The scale of the original pattern has been reduced, while the four color schemes are a nod to the original and include a traditional interpretation and more contemporary options. The Stag Trail wallpaper is available in 4 different colors.

The collection represents timeless patterns spanning a span of 200 years, from the early 18th century to the early 20th century. The wallpaper designs are based on originals found in National Trust buildings across the country. Including wallpaper that still adorns old walls, fragments preserved in archive drawers and even preserved wallpaper rolls, found in an attic somewhere.
