GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

LAB SOCIETY, the loyalty program (hereinafter the "program") is offered by LAB Shops B.V. (hereinafter referred to as LAB) to businesses (section 1) focused on providing color and wallpaper advice in the broadest sense and/or focused on execution, and also to private customers (section 2). LAB offers certain benefits and privileges as described below. These general terms and conditions form the agreement (the "agreement") between you ("member") and LAB regarding the program.

1.      PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIP

1.1 Membership qualifications: The program is open to professionals who are professionally engaged daily in advising on paint and color and who register with a valid email address and KVK number related to our field. Individuals can register as professionals at https://www.labcolourtheworld.com/pages/samenwerken-professionals

Membership is available exclusively to professionals with a valid Chamber of Commerce (KVK) number. This is approved in writing by LAB at its sole discretion after registration. The Member must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. LAB reserves the right to refuse membership to customers who do not follow the registration procedures or for other reasons it deems valid. The member must immediately notify LAB of changes to personal account information, such as (business) name, address, phone number(s), and/or email address by updating the details in the account at labcolourtheworld.com/account. If there are changes in the business setup of LAB, the member must send an email to contact@labcolourtheworld.com.

1.2 By participating in the program, the member agrees to the terms, rules, policies, and procedures of the program, including but not limited to these Terms, including the provisions below regarding mandatory arbitration of disputes on an individual (non-class) basis. Each member is responsible for staying informed about the program terms. LAB reserves the right to disqualify members who violate the program terms.

1.3 Participation in the loyalty program is a condition for collaborating as a professional with LAB

1.4 The program applies exclusively to orders placed on the website https://labcolourtheworld.com/ (the “Website”)

1.5 LAB may at any time and at its sole discretion change, limit, or terminate the program, the structure of the program, or any other function of the program or these terms without notice. Your continued participation in the program confirms your acceptance of such changes. Points not redeemed will become invalid if the program is canceled.

1.6 LAB may contact you to discuss participation in the program, including possible opportunities to earn points.

1.7 You can end your participation in the program at any time by contacting contact@labcolourtheworld.com or by calling +31 (0)85 040 65 29. Upon cancellation, all unused points in your account will expire.

1.8 You can view an overview of your account and point balance by logging into the Website and clicking on “LAB SOCIETY.” Here you can also view your points balance and redemptions under “My History.”

1.9 LAB SOCIETY may (at its sole discretion) suspend, restrict, or revoke any account if the member:

  • violates the general terms and conditions;
  • Points misused; or
  • acts in any way that may be harmful to the program or other Members.

1.10 LAB SOCIETY reserves the right to change these terms at any time. Changes take effect upon publication on the Website. The member is responsible for paying attention to this.

1.11 A valid email address is required to qualify for certain benefits, offers, and updates. The member must report changes to the email address by updating the member account online or by sending an email to contact@labcolourtheworld.com.

1.12 Program benefits cannot be transferred, bought, sold, assigned, or traded, including as part of a divorce settlement. Benefits have no cash value and cannot be redeemed for cash.

1.13 LAB employees are excluded from participating in the program.

 

2.      INDIVIDUAL CUSTOMER MEMBERSHIP

2.1 Professional customers must register according to section 1.

2.2 Signing up for LAB SOCIETY is easy when placing an order. Log in and agree to the terms, and you are registered.

2.3 Each member of the program receives an account linked to their unique, valid email address. Accounts and points are non-transferable, and members may not use accounts or points for sale, resale, or barter.

2.4 Members of the program are responsible for informing LAB if their information changes or if they discover that their account and/or password is being used by a third party. Members can keep their account information up to date by logging into their account on the website labcolourthewolrd.com and going to the “My Account” link in the website’s navigation bar.

2.5 The program applies exclusively to orders placed on the website https://labcolourtheworld.com/ (the “Website”),

2.6 LAB may at any time and at its sole discretion modify, limit, or terminate the program, the program structure, or any other function of the program or these Terms without notice. Your continued participation in the program confirms your acceptance of such changes. Points not redeemed become invalid upon program cancellation.

2.7 You can terminate your participation in the program at any time by contacting contact@labcolourtheworld.com or by calling +31 (0)85 040 65 29. Upon termination, all unused Points in your account will expire.

3.      STATUS IN THE PROGRAM PROFESSIONALS

3.1 Status in the program is solely based on the total amount spent by a professional on labcolourtheworld.com combined with the total amount spent in the concept store (Huizerweg 29, 1401 GG Bussum) per calendar year. The criteria to achieve a status are determined based on spending in a full calendar year.

  • Member *: A professional receives the status of Member * after registering as a professional on labcolourtheworld.com and after approval by LAB.
  • Friend **: A professional receives the status of Friend ** when the account has reached a total spending amount of 2,500 euros.
  • V.I.P ***: A professional receives the status of V.I.P *** when the account has reached a total spending amount of 5,000 euros.
  • Ambassador ****: A professional receives the status of Ambassador **** when the account has reached a total spending amount of 10,000 euros.

3.2 To maintain your status, you must meet the spending threshold annually. If this threshold is not met the following year, your status will expire at the end of that calendar year. Twice a year, LAB will or may assess the current status of the membership and whether a promotion can be applied.

3.3 Discounts: Unique benefits are offered for all levels. The higher your status, the more benefits you receive. After successful registration as a professional, you will gain insight into this.

LAB reserves the right to adjust the benefit thresholds at its discretion.

3.4 Each year, we will review the balance mid-year, and if an IP already qualifies based on turnover to move up to the next level, we will implement that mid-year. You will not drop in level mid-year. This will be reviewed at the end of each year, see section: 3.2

 

 

4.      EARNING POINTS

4.1 Every existing member automatically receives 50 points at the launch of the program.

4.2 Members can earn points by:

  • Making purchases on the Website (articles 4.3 and 4.4);
  • Completing actions or events as described in 4.9 (“Bonus points”);
  • Other methods as indicated by LAB Society from time to time.

4.3 To earn points, you must be logged in during the relevant purchase or action.

4.4 For every euro you spend via labcolourtheworld.com or the concept store, you receive 1 point.

4.5 Purchase discounts affect the number of points earned, which is calculated based on the actual amount after the discount.

4.6 Rounding is done downwards (e.g., €2.50 earns 2 points).

4.7 Returns must be handled according to LAB's return policy, which can be found at www.labcolourtheworld.com/policies/refund-policy. When returning an item, the amount previously added to the program status will be deducted from the member's account along with the points.

4.8 Purchases made with gift cards do not count towards the status in the program.

4.9       Bonus points: Check the reward page for the latest updates. 

 

5.      REDEEM POINTS

5.1 Earned Points can be redeemed for discounts on products on the Website with a minimum of 250 points or the points can be redeemed for LAB Lifestyle products.

5.2 Discount scales can be found on the reward page.

5.3 Points can only be redeemed on labcolourtheworld.com and not in the concept store. Points can only be used once.

After redeeming points for a discount, the points will be deducted from your account.

5.4 Points have no cash value and can only be used once.

5.5 After redeeming points for a discount, the points will be deducted from your account.

5.6 LAB is not responsible for unauthorized redemptions.

5.7 One discount per transaction is allowed, and the maximum number of points redeemable per transaction is 2500.

5.8 All points expire if not redeemed 24 months after the transaction in which the points were earned.

6.      COMMUNICATION ABOUT THE PROGRAM

LAB will communicate with Members via mail, email, SMS, and other channels, including about special promotions, offers, and more. LAB may also use these channels to inform the member about their status in the program, benefits, program changes, and so on. Note: even if you unsubscribe from marketing messages, LAB may continue to send non-promotional messages, such as those related to your account or ongoing business relationships.

 

7.      OTHER TERMS

7.1 Data Protection: see www.labcolourtheworld.com/policies/privacy-policy for information about LAB's privacy policy.

7.2 The general user terms of the Website also apply to your participation in the program https://www.labcolourtheworld.com/policies/terms-of-service.

7.3 Limitation of Liability: The member indemnifies LAB from any liability for participation in the program or these Terms.

7.4 Intellectual Property: All designs, texts, images, logos, and brand names related to the program are the property of LAB and may be registered in the Netherlands and internationally.
