Tape and covering material
TAPE AND COVERING MATERIAL FOR PAINTING
Even if you are very meticulous and have painted many meters, a paint splatter or a slip is easily made. Therefore, always make sure to cover the floor and furniture with protective foil or paper before you start painting. Secure the foil or paper with special tape. Also, first tape off everything that does not need to be painted with painter's tape. A time-consuming task, but one you better not skip.
DIFFERENT TYPES OF MASKING TAPES
LAB has different types of masking tape for taping off your walls, ceilings, frames, and other areas that should not be painted. For example, there is purple tape suitable for taping off sensitive surfaces, such as a freshly plastered or painted wall. In addition, there is LAB tape gold, and this professional tape allows for sharp lines for the perfect final result.
Both tapes have exceptionally low adhesive strength, but a good bond due to a special adhesive layer. This ensures that the tape adheres well but will not damage the wall or your paintwork.
