Coatings for extra protection

Of walls, stairs, and floors 

After painting walls and floors, it is sometimes advisable to apply a coating. A coating provides extra protection and a wear-resistant layer on top of your paintwork, allowing you to enjoy your floor, stairs, or wall for longer. A coating can also ensure that the wall or floor becomes waterproof and that liquids cannot penetrate it. This can be useful in the kitchen and a must in the bathroom. LAB offers coatings for different applications. 

Floor coating 

A floor coating is a popular choice. Not only for businesses but certainly also for homes. LAB floor coating is available in 2 variants: a transparent and an opaque floor coating. The opaque floor coating is available in all imaginable colors. Both floor coatings are easy to apply, have a matte finish, do not yellow, and are very strong, wear- and scrub-resistant. 

Bathroom coating 

Bathroom coating is especially suitable for wet areas, such as the bathroom, except for the floor in the wet cell. The coating is available in a transparent variant, but also in a covering form. The transparent bathroom coating is applied over concrete ciré and cement-based stucco mortars, making the walls 100% waterproof. The covering bathroom coating can also be applied over tiles. 

Stair coating 

Is your staircase in need of a makeover or sustainable maintenance? With LAB stair coating, you give the steps an extra protective layer. The coating is very suitable for the DIY enthusiast and the content is sufficient for painting a standard-sized staircase (approx. 6-7 m²). 

Wall coating 

LAB Wall coating is a transparent wall finish for heavily used walls. Think of the kitchen, toilet, hallway, or stair walls. With the wall coating, you can easily and properly clean the walls, and they are optimally protected. First, paint the wall in a color of your choice with LAB wall paint and then coat the wall with 2 layers of LAB transparent wall coating. 

Wood Coating 

LAB wood coating is a very strong finish for wooden surfaces, such as floors and furniture. The wood coating is transparent and consists of two components. This makes the product extremely strong, wear and scratch-resistant, and moisture-resistant. The wood coating is water-based, does not discolor, and dries quickly (approximately 3 hours) after application on the wood. 

Cementum Coating 

With LAB cementum, you give your walls a concrete look and the cementum coating can be optionally applied as an extra, durable finishing layer. The coating protects, makes the surface easy to clean, and extremely wear-resistant. Suitable for walls in bathrooms (including the wet cell), toilets, kitchens, and other heavily used walls. The transparent coating is available in two finishes: matte and satin.
