In the home of Lewes and René, a calm base was chosen with the soft neutral Petit Macaron no. 916. By adding accents in Silent Cinnamon no. 25 and Epic Tiger no. 246, the overall look is anything but boring. The main accent is created with walls in Night Sky no. 101. Not black, but an exciting off-black shade that gives the interior a luxurious and powerful appearance.
STYLISH KITCHEN
The kitchen and dining area have been transformed into a cozy, open space. Thanks to Petit Macaron no. 916, a warm and calm base is created. This pairs well with the marble countertop in the kitchen and the African art on the wall.
KIDSPROOF
Lewis and René had too little storage space, especially for the children's toys. Thanks to the handy storage unit with a desk, this living problem is solved smartly and stylishly. The unit is painted in the same color as the wall, Petit Macaron no. 916, while both the desk and the chair received the warm shade Silent Cinnamon no. 25.
Art in color
For the residents, art is an essential part of the interior. The painting in the kitchen, a wedding gift, forms an important starting point within the color palette. With the powerful shade Epic Tiger no. 246 behind the painting, the art comes even more to life and creates a connection with the rest of the colors in the room.
AFRICAN ART
Thanks to the partition wall, the dining area and kitchen have been transformed into intimate spaces where the family enjoys gathering. The African artworks, which hold special value for Lewis, were showcased on the wall painted in Night Sky no. 101. The brown of the masks creates a warm harmony with the off-black LAB shade. This gives the space character and personality without overpowering it.
